Rule 116B
Civil Service Day
(1) Civil Service Day will be celebrated on the 22nd of every year.
(2) To celebrate the Civil Service Day, a Civil Service Day Celebration Committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal.
(3) The secretariat of the committee to be formed according to sub-rule (2) will be in the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.

(1) In the case of gazetted posts, in order to be promoted in civil service, group or sub-group vacant posts by performance evaluation and seniority and performance evaluation, employees with the minimum service period and educational qualification as per section 21 of the relevant service, group or sub-group under the relevant service, group or sub-group in the case of gazetted posts.
